Meeting called to order by Leon at 7:06 PM.

Its [sic] was announced that Raven Shiels died on Jan. 27, 2009. Respects can be made on a website for that purpose ... just Google his name.

Last star party on 2/28 was weathered out.

Next parties planned for Craig's house on 3/28 and 3/21.

A public star party is planned for 4/4 in Wallick [sic] Ranch Park. Bring your scopes.

Presentations: DVD presentation on Saturn's moons Titan and Enceladus was shown.

Business meeting:

   Minutes were read and accepted with corrections.

   Treasurer reported interest of $$$, $$$ from a car wash, and a bank balance of $$$.

Old Business:

   A new tax number for the Corp. has been received. Copies were given to officers for safe keeping.

   Copies of the proposed By-Laws were distributed.

   Sat. working group is now on the tax-free form for IRS submission.

   Another car wash is scheduled to April 5 (Sun) at 12:30 PM

   Plans for trips were discussed

New Business:

   Public-invited-star-parties could make money. Ron Nyberg suggested selling some pictures.

   A hang-up was reported in getting addresses to the Astronomic League

   Need for a new bank account was reported and the Treasurer was voted authority to proceed (Anne/Diana unanimous).
