Last star party cancelled by cold weather.

Next scheduled parties at Ron N. on 1/24 and 1/31 (if needed or desired).

Presentations: Leon gave a 400 year-anniversary-history ofthe telescope.

Also mentioned was that 2009 is the "year of astronomy", Sky andTelescope has article.

Raffle: Steve's contribution of a book on Caldwell objects was raffledand we raised $$$.

Business meeting:

Minutes were read and accepted.

Treasurer reported a bank balance of $$$.

Old Business:

Yearly dues are $18/27 plus Astr. League dues.

Sat. committee still working on By-Laws.

New EIN number (tax #) has been applied for.

New Business:

Discussion were held on a variety of topics but no actions were taken.
