Meeting of Feb. 14, 2009

Meeting called to order by Leon at 7:20 PM.

Last star parties at the N's on both 1/24 and 1/31. Good viewing till 9:30 on 1/24 and until late on 1/31.

Next scheduled party on 2/28 at site to be announced.

Presentations: DVD presentation on Saturn, weather and rings discussed in some detail. Later on this disc will be moons (next month?).

Business meeting:

            Minutes were read and accepted.

            Treasurer reported a bank balance of $$$.

Old Business:

            Sat. committee still working on By-Laws.

New Business:

            Discussion were held on possible public-invited-star-parties'

            Posiible [sic] trips were discussed including Lowell, Kitt Peak, Meteor Crater, and Momokivi Ruins (f0r viewing).
